Job Requirements:
Job Highlights:
- Maintain diesel equipment by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and record-keeping.
- Perform mobile and field service, including roadside and offsite repairs.
- Diagnose vehicle issues by conducting inspections and tests; identify and replace worn parts.
- Ensure equipment readiness through preventive maintenance, part upgrades, and winterization.
- Repair or replace major assemblies and components, including power trains, electrical, brakes, and hydraulics.
- Follow federal and state standards by testing engines, safety, and combustion controls.
- Keep shop equipment running by troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive care.
- Continuously update knowledge through educational resources and technical publications.
- Support department goals by taking on diverse tasks and exploring ways to add value.
- Estimate travel 2 weeks per month - guaranteed home time after 2 weeks out

Skills/Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Tooling, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Technical Understanding
- Soft Skills: Attention to Detail, Dependability, Thoroughness, Verbal Communication, Documentation Skills, Job Knowledge
- 5 Years Experience
- Heavy equipment mechanic skills a PLUS
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Capable of standing for long periods, bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, walking, or running for extended periods.
