Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, processing sales transactions and returns.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure the cash drawer balances at the end of each shift.
- Utilize phone etiquette to manage customer calls and provide information about products or services.
- Assist with retail sales by upselling products and promoting special offers.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a neat shopping environment.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, striving for resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to stock management and sales techniques.
