Network Engineer II!TS / SCI clearance with polygraph!The Level 2 Network Engineer (ITSC2) shall possess the following capabilities : Experience with creating specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.Experience with switches and routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.Experience with design / engineering / implementation of LAN / WAN networks and related administration experience of those networks.Evaluate and report on new communications technologies.Skill level 2 qualifications : Ten (10) years’ experience in the Information Technology Field is required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Five (5) years of additional IT experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.Program IAT Level II Certification.In addition to the ITSC2 LCAT requirements : Experience in planning network communications systems; experience with switches and routers.Experience with design / engineering / implementation of LAN / WAN networks.Ability to provide technical input and follow through with implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.Experience with evaluating and reporting on new communications technologies; provide technical guidance concerning automated solutions.Experience with CISCO.Ability to conduct analysis of reliability, maintainability, and vulnerability.Approximate Salary Range : $135,800 - $211,600#J-18808-Ljbffr
