We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of various hand and power tools. Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
- Irrigate plants, lawns, and gardens as necessary to ensure healthy growth.
- Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to best practices for garden care.
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter from outdoor areas.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall appearance of the property through seasonal landscaping projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including fertilization and pest control methods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor.
