Schedule: 10 hour shifts, Monday to Thursday

We’re on a mission to make veterinary care affordable for the 50% of pet-owning households struggling with the costs of basic vet visits. By providing subsidized spay, neuter, and wellness services, our team directly impacts families and rescuers, making a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.

As a Wellness Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in our clinic. You’ll leverage your expertise in veterinary practice to support our goal of delivering high-quality, affordable care. Your responsibilities will range from assisting veterinarians and LVTs in exams to engaging with clients and their pets, ensuring a compassionate and efficient service.

Note: this role is part of our wellness team.

You Will:

• Provide stellar care and support to pets and their owners
• Assist in all aspects of veterinary services, including service provision, medication preparation, and patient care
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and care
• Manage client communications effectively, offering education and support

Ideal Candidate:

• Brings 2 years of experience in a shelter or high-volume clinic (required)
• Excels in communication, teamwork, and has a proactive approach to learning and growth
• Can meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
