| About the Job:
Reporting to the Franchise, the Franchise General Manager leads a cross-functional team to execute corporate goals and build Taco Bell as a prominent business in the market, partnering closely with the Taco Bell Corporate Regional General Manager. This role is a broad, strategic role that leads the business strategy, operations, the development, approval and execution of strategies, policies, objectives and plans designed to achieve approved growth, revenue and profit targets.
The Day-to-Day: People Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure; manage multifunctional team Bring Live Más culture to life throughout the organization through leadership development Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports Evaluate employee performance and Build People Capability Lead by example – be a culture champion and live by Taco Bell principles
Business Development Drive unit expansion with strong economics and value Create and implement a strategy to establish and grow Taco Bell in the market Develop goals and objectives to execute strategy Lead direct startup of business and manage brand growth in country Pre-Launch: partner with TB Regional Office to oversee market research, menu development, supply chain set up, site finding, operations training, & marketing launch strategy Lead site finding and development until Development Leader in place Assess performance and create plans for continuous improvement Take ownership of and report key results to corporate officers
Marketing Lead marketing strategies and plans to grow & maintain market share Supervise the development and implementation of new products in line with brand standards and company’s strategic plans Engage in key or targeted customer activities Fulfill brand promise of feeding people’s lives with Mas Flavor, Mas Heart, Mas Value
Operations Recruit and equip the best operators in the world to deliver great customer experiences Maintain brand standards around food quality & ensure product availability Oversee operational processes are consistently delivering a great customer experience across all restaurants Leverage culture and people capability to fuel brand performance
Finance Manage profit and loss at the restaurant and corporate level Set P&L targets for restaurant general managers Oversee capital expenditure and budgets in accordance with company policies & strategy Report on actual operating performance versus budget and forecast objectives to business owner and executive team

| Is This You?
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience, with an emphasis on functional leadership (Marketing and/or Development) of a multinational consumer-facing company and/or top-tier management consulting experience, having also worked in industry Bachelor’s Degree (management, business, finance), advanced degree preferred Experience in all facets of line management, including strategy, objective setting, action planning, execution excellence, application of analytical techniques, corrective action in achievement of high operating standards and targets in achievement of sales, profit, people and growth targets Leadership team experience with direct sales / profit / people management accountability Experience in a progressive, face-paced consumer orientated business Experience in short-and long-term planning and in the development of strategies and plans for achievement of approved revenue, profit and growth targets Ability to establish and retain clear priorities and apply appropriate degree of urgency while maintaining a controlled environment and approach to management An understanding and appreciation of modern marketing management and the importance of consumer insights in driving results An understanding and appreciation of building people capability and the importance of company values, culture and people capability in driving results A sound understanding of external and internal public relations activities Proven strong coaching, influencing and people skills with the ability to obtain credibility and acceptance in the shortest possible time without unnecessary disruption Able to relate to all levels of management and employees from diverse backgrounds through the application of exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Competitive outlook with proven decision making and risk taking ability balanced by sound commercial judgement High degree of flexibility with the ability to drive and embrace change as an opportunity to provide commercial advantage
