Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry Level Denture Technician to join our team. As a key member of our denture lab, you will be responsible for assisting in the analog fabrication and repair of dentures. This is a task-oriented role and the ability to manage your time effectively is crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an environment where each team member has highly differentiated roles.
Responsibilities
- Pouring up and trimming denture models, creating wax bite rims and custom trays, relining and repairing dentures.
- Stocking supplies in operatory rooms and lab.
- Follow detailed instructions from denturists and lab manager and assist in various tasks to support a smooth workflow between the clinic and lab.
- Using tools and equipment such as model trimmer, air chisel, butane and alcohol torches, lab knives, etc.
- Ensure that all work meets our high quality standards and is completed on time.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Dental experience can be helpful, but other transferrable skills include experience with acrylics, resins, and sculpting, as denture fabrication involves a high level of detail and artistry.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
