What You’ll Do
In this role, you'll work with Flatiron’s Real World Evidence team to support the delivery of data sets and products to our clients in the life sciences. You'll play a key role in developing data models, building research-grade data sets, and conducting statistical analyses that support our customers in their efforts to advance the state of cancer care. As part of this work, you will:
- Become a subject matter expert on our data and its capabilities
- Work closely with a cross-functional team (e.g., product managers, software engineers, oncologists, clinical data specialists) to develop new real-world data products.
- Conduct and review tests to monitor quality of data sets to ensure research-grade data quality in our products, investigating data issues as necessary.
- Conduct and present ad-hoc analyses in response to customer requests and internal questions.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop tools and process improvements to optimize project execution for our custom solutions projects.
- Conduct analyses on internal process metadata and translate findings into actionable insights for business leaders.
- You have a BS or MS from a technical field of study (e.g. data science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, health economics, etc.) with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- You are proficient in SQL and R
- You have an understanding of key statistical concepts and the ability to generate and interpret statistical analyses
- You are a clear and confident communicator who can break down complex data analyses to tell a compelling story
- You are a self-starter who can independently prioritize and enjoys coming up with innovative solutions to challenging problems
- You are passionate about our mission to improve cancer care through data and technology
- You have prior experience in Healthcare
- You have prior Oncology or Clinical Data experience
- You have experience designing experiments
- You have experience developing software tools
- You have experience in Python

Salary : $79,200 - $118,100
