Commercial Roofer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, with experience in various roofing systems and techniques. This role involves working on commercial properties to install, repair, and maintain roofing systems, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and safety standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and restore commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up, Coating Systems, and Metal roofs.
• Perform inspections to identify issues such as leaks or damage and recommend appropriate repairs, repair with compatible materials.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete roofing tasks.
• Execute trim carpentry work as needed to ensure proper installation of roofing materials.
• Apply caulking and sealants to prevent water infiltration and enhance the durability of roofs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist with metal stud framing and masonry tasks when required.

Experience

• Proven experience as a roofer or in a related field is essential.
• Willing and able to follow strict safety protocols is a must.
• Familiarity with various roofing materials and techniques is required.
• Skills in sheet metal coping and roofing highly advantagous.
• Skills in plumb work, trim carpentry, maintenance person tasks, and masonry are advantageous.
• Ability to work at heights safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Truck, gas card, and equipment is available to qualified individuals (must be 25 with valid drivers license)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
