Summary:
Flatter, Inc. is hiring an exceptional Automated Test Systems Operator/Maintainer Training Developer will support the development of Next Generation Automatic Test Set (NGATS) instructional material for the Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE).
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate NGATS operational procedures, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting processes into training resources.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and operators to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Assist in the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and courses for NGATS operators and maintainers.
- Conduct research and analysis on training; prepare/write reports; prepare and present briefs; participate in the evaluation of capabilities for improving sustainment related capabilities; assess the development, writing, editing, and publishing of Training Support Packages (TSP) and Army doctrine.
- Develop course materials (e.g., lesson plans, training aids, student handouts, and assessments); review and provide input to Course Administrative Data (CAD) and Programs of Instruction (POI); review and provide input to distance learning, augmented reality and virtual reality training programs and products; review and provide input to training products such as Systems Training Plans (STRAP), and Individual Training Plans (ITP); and development of instructional strategies.
- Provide training support for new material program actions and initiatives, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient with MS office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint, and ensure ability to access all required training tools and databases.
- Must be knowledgeable of all applicable regulations and doctrine regarding military training.
- Familiarity with NGATS or similar automated test systems is highly desirable.
Education and Experience:
- Work experience includes five (5) years of experience in TDC, which is the Army system of record for POI development.
o Additionally, interface in the management of various types of extension and institutional instructional materials and selects the most cost-effective media mixes for presenting instruction.
- Must meet training and technical certification of course content and instructional design IAW the Army Learning Policy and Systems, and the experience-level requirements of the course they are to develop, research and design resulting in revisions to existing Sustainment, DoD, or DA training documents and materials, e.g., POIs, graphic training aids, classroom reference materials, and TADSS. The primary product will be the POI IAW AR 350-1, TR 350-70, and other pertinent regulations.
- Favorably adjudicated Tier 1 (T1) investigation by the DoD Consolidated Adjudicated Services for CAC eligibility and network access, with the ability to obtain a CAC issued by the Government.
- Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified in instructional design methodologies.
- Experience with Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) standards and processes.
- Knowledge of DoD training frameworks and technical manual standards.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools and e-learning platforms.
- Prior military experience or familiarity with military logistics and operations.
