Job Title: Data Entry Specialist (Part-time)

SUMMARY
The Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and integrity of soldier medical records within the Wyoming Army National Guard (WYARNG) Non-Clinical Case Management Team. This position is responsible for processing, updating, and maintaining electronic and physical medical documentation, supporting compliance with Army, DoD, HIPAA, and cybersecurity regulations. The accuracy and timeliness of data entry directly impact medical readiness classification (MRC) compliance, deployment eligibility, and overall force readiness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter and update medical documentation in WYARNG databases.
- Perform quality assurance checks on medical records and case files.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and Army medical readiness documentation standards.
- Assist in preparing and formatting medical readiness reports.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Primary work location: Raper Armory, Cheyenne, WY.
- Hybrid work environment: Limited telework may be approved.
- This position requires working one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) to support WYARNG drill events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Part-time, 20 hours per week, with potential weekend support as required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Regular commute to primary work location is not considered travel.
Contract employees may be required to travel to execute any missions to support or augment the WYARNG consistent with all services described. Specifically, in the event of a mobilization or PHA event, the contractor shall ensure adequate case management service and support is available for travel to locations to best support these activities.
Since this is a part-time position (20 hours per week), weekend work may not be mandatory, but the role should remain flexible to provide support as needed.
CLEARANCE/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility required.
- Favorable background check per Army Directive 2014-05.
