Summary
To be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner, read a packing list / purchase orders, wrap skids and move materials to location
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload and unpack incoming shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Compare packing lists and purchase orders to ensure accuracy of deliveries, noting any
discrepancies or damage.
- Update inventory records, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure items are stored in
designated areas.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues to
the appropriate parties
- May be responsible for packaging products for return to
vendors or for outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehousing/manufacturing environment preferred
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- In-house fork truck certification is required
- Forklift operation skills preferred

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to food-grade fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Working in the warehouse may, on occasion, expose this individual to non-hazardous fumes, and noise from equipment such as forklifts and air compressor.
Working in the production rooms may expose this individual to noise from blenders, mixers, pumps, and forklifts.
