JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Dentist at Flawless Smile Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our assistants and hygienists to ensure a dynamic and memorable patient experience. This role is responsible for the delivery of exceptional dental care through exams, various treatments and educating patients on oral health and preventative care. The Associate Dentist is a leader and inspiration for our team and an advocate for their patients throughout their dental experience, providing meaningful feedback with compassion and understanding.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Create a positive and individualized experience for each patient
Build rapport with patients to ensure a memorable smile
Assists with patient management during dental procedures
Educate patients on all options available
Minimally provide basic dental services (i.e. comprehensive dental exams, periodic exams, fillings, crowns / bridges, root canals, simple extractions)
Surgical experience a plus
Diagnose and assess oral health conditions
Examine patients, obtain medical history and develop treatment plan
Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records
Provide instruction as needed to patients
Prescribe medications appropriately
Address clinical issues promptly and accurately
Analyze and evaluate x-rays
Provide treatment for fillings, broken teeth, replacement of teeth, root canals, extractions and other treatments as necessary
Provide accurate models and measurements
Prescribe, administer and dispense fluoride, fluoride varnish, antimicrobial solutions or resorbable antimicrobial agents
Presenting treatment to patients.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and dental board procedures.
Other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Dental Medicine (DMD) (Required)
Extensive Dentistry knowledge, (Required)
Laser Certification (Preferred)
Ability to pass a criminal background check, (Required)
Minimum 2yrs of General Dentistry as a provider, (Preferred)
