Waiter/Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and welcomed.
• Present menus, provide recommendations, and assist guests with their selections to enhance their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
• Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with food quality and service.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.

Skills

• Strong upselling skills with the ability to promote menu items effectively.
• Excellent guest relations skills to foster positive interactions with customers.
• Proficient in guest services, ensuring all patrons receive top-notch hospitality.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary practices within the fine dining sector is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail in order taking and service delivery.
• Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is advantageous but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $2.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
