We are seeking an organized and motivated General Laborers to join the FLC Contracting Team!
General Description:
The Construction Laborer may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. The Construction Laborer assists the superintendents and leads in multiply construction trades such as drywall, paintng, demo, removal of construction debris and clean up.
General Responsibilities:
Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazards (e.g., measures, marks, and records openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed)
Assists the supers and leads by hauling materials to job sites and cleaning debris from work site
Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Needs to possess knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
