SMALL PROJECTS LEAD
Local Commercial General Contractor seeking a Small Projects Lead/Handyman. This position requires a team leader with experience in crew management, subcontractor coordination and scheduling, material and supply ordering, and the ability to execute a quality finished product while staying within budget. This is a hands-on, lead position; applicants should be ready to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their crew, with the construction experience and know-how to get the job done professionally. Our large variety of projects range in scope anywhere from carpentry to concrete, drywall and painting. We are not seeking an expert in any one area, but instead someone with the knowledge and experience to manage multiple small projects, ask questions when necessary, execute a quality finished product, and keep our customers happy and coming back. We have been in business for 10 years and take great pride in retaining our repeat customers.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a general contracting company
- Renovation experience, prior trade experience (carpentry, drywall, concrete, masonry, light commercial)
- Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills, MS Office, internet, email, etc.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
