What You’ll Do:

This is an On-Site Full-Time Hourly Employment position working as a Cylinder Head Technician. As a Cylinder Head Tech, you will disassemble and assemble cylinder heads. This position will allow you to have a direct impact on the success of the company.

What You’ll Do

job duties include, but not limited to:

• Disassemble and Assemble Cylinder heads
• Utilize power and hand tools to disassemble/assemble per work instructions
• Clean, sandblast, and paint components
• Measure and inspect components to ensure proper tolerances
• Package cylinder Heads after final assembly
• Complete visual inspections of both in-process and finished products
• Work with a team to meet daily production requirements and stringent delivery schedules.
• Read and interpret component drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions
• Follow and Adhere to Safety Personal Protective Equipment, Safety Protocols, and ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Assist or support with training as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Represents the company in a professional manner

• Able to use calipers and micrometers
• Able to use and navigate a computer
• You are self-motivated and pro-active in completing tasks, seeking out solutions to problems that may be encountered.
• You display a positive attitude towards co-workers, customers, and vendors, able to collaborate and teamwork
• Eye for details is your thing, and you maintain a clean, highly organized, work environment.
• Repetitive tasks don’t bother you and precision, and you love making things just right.

• You’re all about precision, timeliness, and come to work with a positive attitude

The Job Scene:

• As a team we strive for a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• This position operates in a fabrication environment with exposure to fabrication machine shop fumes, high-pitched noise from machining, and metal particulates
• Work is indoors in a controlled temperature environment! However, your area or areas around you may have potential exposure to different temperatures from fabrication or assembly, and or job-related oils and chemicals.  

What it Takes:

• Employees must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required by department or job function
• You’re cool standing or moving around for extended periods up to 8 hours a day.
• You can lift 50 lbs, stand and maneuver for extended periods of time
• You’ve got exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills and able to perform fine finger and hand manipulation for up to 8 hours per day
• Bending, reaching, or working in confined spaces is not an issue to you
• You can hear and respond to machinery sounds or safety alarms in a loud environment.
