Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and prospect new clients in the Norwegian market for our software and IT staffing services.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our market share in the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Understand client business needs and propose tailored solutions based on our offerings (software projects, IT staff augmentation).
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction with both pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and services.
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the region.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and quotes for prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and timelines in collaboration with the management team.
- Closely monitor the sales process and ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
Market Expansion and Brand Positioning
- Represent the company at local industry events, networking functions, and trade shows.
- Strengthen the company s brand presence in Norway and establish it as a trusted partner for software and IT services.
- Develop local marketing and promotional materials tailored to the Norwegian market.
- Provide feedback to the company on market demands, trends, and customer pain points.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with project management, delivery, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of services.
- Provide input for the development of service offerings based on market requirements.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during project execution.
Requirements
Key Qualifications and Skills
Experience
- Proven experience (5 years) in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the IT services, software development, or technology sector.
- Experience in selling software development, IT staff augmentation, or consulting services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and managing long-term client relationships.
Technical Knowledge
- A strong understanding of IT services, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), and IT staffing models.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern software technologies, cloud computing, and emerging trends in the IT industry.
Cultural and Market Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of the Norwegian market and its business culture.
- Strong understanding of local client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Ability to navigate the Norwegian business environment and build rapport with local decision-makers.
Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (both written and verbal) in Norwegian and English.

- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education
- A bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in sales or IT (e.g., Salesforce Certified, Project Management certifications) are a plus.
