Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This person will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of recruiting and onboarding new staff to Fleet Landing. This person will ensure all new hire contingencies are met and that new staff members are prepared to begin work, coordinates staff member training and recognition events and serves as the point person for content creation and distribution of staff communications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides outstanding 1st impression and continual service to staff members and prospective staff members; serves as first point of contact for general staff questions/concerns/needs.
- Facilitates all post-offer/pre-employment requirements with candidates, including reference checks, drug screens, background checks and onboarding requirements.
- Efficiently processes/audits post offer/pre-employment paperwork and creates/maintains staff member digital files, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and departmental, regulatory standards.
- Conducts E-Verify for all new hire I-9 records. Maintains staff member I-9 records, including updating ID records as required.
- Supports staff member relations functions, including spearheading the Back-to-School initiative.
- Organizes new staff member orientation; initiates LMS (Learning Management System) courses for new hires, and monitors compliance completion.
- Develops and publishes company/HR communications and announcements; post and manages content on digital communications platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or related area.
Experience:
1 years in an HR or administrative support role desired, preferably in hospitality/customer service or health care industries.
