Delivering Exceptional Service
As a server at Fleet Landing, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional service to our residents and guests. Your primary responsibility will be to perform a variety of services in the Dining Room, including waiting on assigned tables, taking orders, setting tables, bussing tables, completing assigned side work, and charging all residents waited on in the Pinnacle System.
Responsibilities Include:
- Formally greet each resident and guest seated in designated stations
- Provide prompt and courteous service
- Serve meals according to established rules of etiquette
- Observe diners to respond to additional requests
- Give recommendations on which food items are best sellers and answer questions regarding food preparation
- Take meal and drink orders and deliver them to the table using proper dining room etiquette
- Enter orders into the Full-Count Point of Sale System
- Navigate through each screen of the P.O.S. system to charge residents and guests correctly and print out checks for signature
- Participate in bussing and resetting of assigned tables
- Ensure all resident and guest needs are met, including plates, utensils, glasses, napkins, beverages refilled, and other requests satisfied
- Maintain specific side work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of designated station
