What are the responsibilities and job description for the Café Assistant Manager - Mendenhall 157 position at FLEET MORRIS PETROLEUM INC?
In conjunction with Café Manager: responsible for the supervision, training and management of the food and beverage operations in accordance with company expectations. Maximize long term profitability by creating superior value for customers while consuming fewer resources and always acting with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures and company requirements.
- Ensure that food and chemicals are stored safe, organized and in a hazard free environment
- Train and mentor team members on job duties, food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations both in Kitchen and front of house
- May assist in maintaining accurate inventory on a weekly/monthly basis
- May perform cashier duties as required
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to Fleetway Market safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
- Replenishes food offering and ensures that items are stocked to appropriate levels
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by Café Manager and Assistant Café Manager
