Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director, Automotive Sales based in the Central or Mountain Time Zone within our Automotive line of business. In this role, you will be responsible for finding new opportunities and increasing revenue production within your assigned sales territory. This includes the entire sales process of an integrated global payment solution to include planning, new lead generation, developing business cases, and closing while collaborating internally with multiple teams.
This role will also work closely with the other Directors, Automotive Sales, to create scalable, repeatable growth inside this high-performing sales vertical. The Director, Automotive Sales must have a proven sales track record as a high-performing, consultative sales team member in a rapidly changing market. Our goal is to provide best-in-class payment solutions, software, and payment services to the Automotive, Marine, Powersports, auction, and trucking industry. You will report directly to the Vice President of Automotive Sales.

Self-generating & hunting new business by selling a variety of products in the automotive verticalResearching and understanding the prospective client’s business goals, objectives, processes, and challengesCommunicating in a consultative manner recommendation effectively to the appropriate level of leadership within a prospective companyBuilding a professional network in order to build a pipeline of business prospectsCommunicating accurate and timely forecasts to multiple levels of managementEffectively communicating and collaborating with internal (Direct Team, Implementation, Marketing, Product, Partners, CS) and external resources to deliver resultsActively participating in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events, and campaignsBeing responsible and accountable for meeting required sales / revenue targetsOwnership of projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven cultureTracking and updating pipeline opportunities and account management via Salesforce (or another CRM)Qualifications & Skills
