Position Overview :

The Management Trainee (MT) program is designed to cultivate the next generation of Site Managers. As an MT, you will immerse yourself in our systems, procedures, and operations, gaining hands-on experience across multiple site locations. Your goal? To develop the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully lead a future site location.

Pay Range : $60,000 - $65,000 / annually

Position Responsibilities :

While receiving hands-on training the Management Trainee also serves as a second layer of management at their work site. The ideal candidate will have open availability and be willing to relocate within the continental U.S. There may be opportunities for the Management Trainee to travel when necessary. The length of stay will vary depending on the needs of the account. The Management Trainee will have an active role in supporting the local account and recruiting efforts.

Job Duties :

Learn site operations, customer relations, and account management.
Familiarize yourself with technology, systems, and company policies.
Participate in payroll processing, scheduling, and employee management.
Engage in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Master supervisory skills, overseeing teams including Vehicle Service Agents and Driver / Transporters.
Coordinate with local management and customer to discuss suggestions, improvements and challenges and make adjustments as applicable. Continuous follow-up with client regarding workflow status.
Direct and communicate with staff regarding productivity and document performance issues as necessary.
Travel to various site locations to understand diverse customer needs and operations.

Qualifications :

Must be willing to travel and relocate, post-training.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) strongly preferred, but not required. Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus.

Prior experience with customer account relations, and prior experience in the rental car industry is a plus.

Minimum 2 years prior experience in managing or leading a team of employees.

Ideal candidates have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are customer service oriented, fosters teamwork and promotes safety. Must be organized and detail oriented.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

Applicant must meet our minimum hiring age, have a valid state issued Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.

Must pass a background check, drug screening (where applicable)and driver safety skills test.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policies and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine logs, reports and correspondence. Ability to manage schedule, timekeeping records and payroll records.

Use hands; fingers and arms to grasp, reach, stretch, carry, or lift.

Occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits :

Compensation commensurate with education and experience. The option to enroll in health benefits are offered to all full-time employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
