Summary
As the Human Resources Manager at Fleetmaster Express, Inc., you will work with the Director of HR in day to day functions involving payroll, benefits, safety and HR. Specific duties may include:
Payroll processing back up
Administration of leaves of absence
Administration of insurance benefits
Maintaining organizational chart
Maintaining job descriptions
Interviewing and onboarding non-driver candidates
File workers compensation claims
Located at our headquarters, this position is essential for driving HR initiatives that support our mission of delivering exceptional service in the logistics industry.
Skills required include communicating with tact and diplomacy, attention to detail, knowledge of employment laws, excellent written and verbal skills, ability to multi-task successfully, organizational aptitude, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in HR Management
- Experience within the logistics or trucking industry required.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
- Current certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred
