Job Description
FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the United States. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting our branches by expediting parts delivery to all branches and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket in priority assigned.
- Loading and unloading materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
- Stocking and maintaining inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
- Weighing materials or products and recording weight and other production data on tags and labels.
- Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools and equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control and stock replenishment.
- Forklift and Reach truck experience.
Working Conditions
- Handling normal stock involves lifting or carrying parts exceeding 60 lbs, with majority of lifting and carrying involving parts between 5 and 60 lbs.
- Inside/Outside conditions, varied temperature changes – not climate-controlled environment, minimal chemical hazards, vibration, dust, equipment noise.
