Cavco Industries, a leading designer and builder of systems-built structures, including manufactured homes and modular homes, is seeking an Office Manager for our new facility in Glendale, Arizona. This position is a result of Cavco’s continued expansion.
We are looking for a team player accustomed to a fast pace, high growth environment. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in supporting the fluid operation of our Production Office. We are looking for someone who is passionate about office support and dedicated to ensuring operation excellence for new facility in Glendale, Arizona.
Essential Duties Include:
Human Resources Office Support including:
- Onboarding New Hires
- Password Resets to HRIS System
- Reconciling PTO balances when needed
- User Change Form submittals for transfers and compensation changes
Accounts Payable Support
- Oversee payments to local vendors supporting the plant
- Work with local and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure payments are made timely
- Issue Accounts Payable reports when needed
Time and Attendance Review and Support
- Ensure Production Supervisors approve time sheets of Production Staff to meet Weekly Payroll Deadlines
- Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
Office Operations / General Facility Management
- Prepares plant operation reports for management
- May prepare organizational budget and monthly financial reports
- Manages and organizes office operations and procedures, such as word processing, bookkeeping, and preparation of payrolls, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services
- Evaluates office production, updates procedures, and partners with Director of Manufacturing Operations to improve operational efficiencies
- Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Provide administrative support to management
- A positive, “can do” attitude who enjoys working in a dynamic team atmosphere
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in similar position required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational / problem solver
- Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
- Must possess basic skills in Microsoft Word & Excel; PowerPoint knowledge a plus
