Description
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may participate with the Registered Nurse (RN) in providing supervision of a practical nursing student / nurse extern.
Qualifications
Minimum EducationMust be currently enrolled in an approved school of nursing within the United States or have a current KY CNA / LPN license.Candidates must be in good standing with the approved school of nursing and clinically competent to perform these acts.Must graduate program within 13 months of hire / transfer date.Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required 30 days from hire date
