Description
Fleming Electric, Inc. is looking for seasoned Electrical Estimators to join our team in the Northwest Arkansas. This position will be estimating commercial & industrial jobs while providing management oversite on jobs won. Join our growing team in Greenland, AR. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized and have a background in the commercial and/or industrial electrical installation.
Responsibilities
- Use internal computer software to estimate electrical work.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Coordinate internal and external resources need to execute multiple projects
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage client relationships
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

Qualifications
- Proven work experience in estimating and project management
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management software tools
