What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Summer Service Porter position at Fletch's Inc.?

Fletch's of Petoskey is looking for a service porter to join our excellent team in our service department who will transport customers to and from the dealership safely. We require that applicants have a friendly smile and a positive disposition.

The job requires:

Job Duties:
Drive customers to their homes or places of business and pick them up after their vehicle is repaired.
Use good judgment and safe driving skills.
Greet customers after they pull in service drive.
Assist passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
Move vehicles from service drive area, parking them in designated service lots or delivering to a technician.
Responsible for taking care of Service lot at all times.
Deliver customer vehicles to service entrance for pick up as requested.
Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
Quality control – Re-Test - drive vehicles or inspect vehicles after service repairs are complete, interior and exterior.
Assist with process and document loaner vehicle status – upon loaner returns do walk a rounds and check fuel levels – inform service consultants of any discrepancies (i.e. damage and/or fuel levels).
Maintain a professional appearance and an insurable valid driver’s license.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Full time – Monday-Friday 7:15-5:30. Possible Saturday 7:45-Noon. Hours may fluctuate
