Facility Manager

Facility Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Fletcher Storage at its Ridgefield, CT location. Manager’s primary objective is to lease units to qualified renters and serve as a brand ambassador to the broader community. Manager’s success will be measured by lease up velocity and customer experience. Manager will be a reliable source of information while maintaining accurate records and best accounting practices. The Facility Manager will exude strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in all communications.  This position will also oversee the car storage and wine storage businesses – familiarity with both is a plus. Further, you will serve as the eyes & ears for the broader real estate and ensure that the facility is clean and safe at all times.

 

Answer phones and respond to voicemails

Assist renters with move-in or move-out, as-needed

Greet walk-in customers and inform prospective tenants of storage offering

Respond to email and chat inquiries

Sale/Lease of retail goods

Guide over phone or manually assist users with the sign-up workflow

Encourage tenants to leave positive reviews on Google

Troubleshoot any access control/security issues that tenant’s may experience

Check that all mechanical systems (HVAC, elevators, wine room apparatuses, door swings for proper closing) are working properly

Working with support for any software questions

Active local marketing – targeting commercial, residential users while also reaching out to potential wine user/business and car groups, enthusiasts, dealerships, etc.

Regularly inspect site for cleanliness and/or damage – make sure carts are returned to proper location

Manage website pricing and ensuring no discrepancy between SiteLink system and web rates

Responsible for rate hikes and understanding lease agreement terms

Ensure total accuracy of cage leasing info

Collection of all tenant information and the updating of all info including CC info

Accounts Receivable and collections – lock overrides

Monitoring and managing online presence / opinion (responding to Google reviews)

 

Manager will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, follow up, and polished salesmanship.

Self-motivated to grow business awareness through grass roots marketing and content creation.

Organized

Excellent understanding of accounting and bookkeeping

Proficient and adaptive to software and Microsoft suite of products

Part-Time Hourly Rate ($36/hr)
