Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Paralegal at Fletcher, Tydings, Williams-Tracy & Gott PLLC. The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, scheduling hearings, and providing administrative support. The Paralegal will also assist in bankruptcy law and best case filings, as well as work with courts and handle claims and motions filings in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases (creditor).
Qualifications
- Experience in legal document preparation, bankruptcy law, and best-case filings
- Familiarity with courts and handling matters related to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases (creditor)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in legal software and research tools
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree
- Prior experience in foreclosure and bankruptcy law is a plus
