Summary: Responsible for the operation, management and oversight of a video poker casino, retail convenience store, high volume diesel sales, gasoline sales and a full service restaurant. Acts as a liaison between operations and executive level management. Manages budget controls, staffing, cash and inventory control, merchandising, customer service, and profitability. Assures adherence to company policies and procedures. Typically has responsibility for 2 supervisors and 15 - 20 front-line employees.

Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze monthly profit/loss statement, vendor analysis and retail reports, and recommending action to improve the operation.
- Adheres to all city, parish, and state ATC and Video Poker regulations.
- Keeps up with all necessary permits and licenses for the location and maintains renewal in a timely manner.
- Conduct property inspections monthly, and train supervisors to also do inspections.
- Review inspection findings and assign correction of the findings to the staff when possible.
- Ensures that the casino vault is counted and balanced on a daily basis.
- Ensures that daily deposits are made by the store and restaurant.
- Responsible for all hiring, disciplining, coaching, and terminating of hourly employees.
- Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Management and development of supervisors and employees through effective coaching and training.
- Responsible for controlling cash and all other inventory.
- Enforces company policy with regard to casino drops and excessive cash in registers.
- Insure that recap reports are completed at the end of each day.

- Monitors onsite surveillance system daily to ensure it is working properly at all times.
- Insures that company assets are protected at all times through security operations and surveillance operations.
- Ensures that facility is kept clean at all times with specific responsibility being assigned to personnel.
- Responsible that all property safety reporting and responsibilities are met.
- Oversee employee scheduling at all levels at the property.
- Provide and Promote excellent guest service at all levels.
- Responsible for any repair and maintenance (R&M) issues directly relating to the location.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some supervisory or management experience.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Have sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process transactions.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Demonstrate the ability to counsel and develop subordinates in a fair, equal, and favorable work environment.
- Ability to perform basic math and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, gross profit margins and analyze financial statements.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Physical Demands:
This position requires an ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in stocking and merchandising of store inventory, and stand up to a full eight hour shift, stooping, climbing and bending to stock and inventory merchandise.
