The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization and research, development, and product implementation efforts. The Project Manager is the single point of contact between the Customer and FlexEnergy Solutions (FES) after the purchase order is accepted but will be involved prior to order acceptance. This position is responsible for managing the delivery and commissioning coordination to the Customer, ensuring Customer and FES expectations are aligned, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
This requires: 1) engagement with the sales team during the quotation process; 2) working closely with engineering and operations to fulfill the order, 3) providing complete documentation to the Customer so they can prepare their site and successfully install the equipment; 4) support the Operations team to ensure the site is ready for commissioning.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Application Engineering: Create proposals for new unit sales, leases, and T&M projects (involving manufacturing or engineering support).
This role oversees and coordinates projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. It also manages resources, schedules, and risks and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
This role is responsible for contract compliance, cost, schedule performance, forecasting, submittals, technical drawings, claims, cost recovery, and client relations.
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Responsibilities begin at contract execution and continue through assembly, delivery, installation, and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and company practices.
Resource Management
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and secure necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Responsible for all unit builds, rebuilds, and T&M projects (involving engineering or manufacturing)
Leadership & Collaboration
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders (including end customer).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain.
- Assist with product acceptance and compliance with required internal and external standards for safety, reliability, and performance.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
- Develop contingency plans to address unexpected challenges.
- Evaluates codes and standards to determine applicability and compliance. Identifies gaps and work with team to drive compliance if required.
Problem Solving
- Analyze project issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvements in company products' reliability, value, and profitability using Value Analysis/Value Engineering and other methods.
- Perform spec analysis, manage product redesign, and qualification testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years in project management
- Experience working from home, in the shop, or in the field at oil & gas sites &/or other projects sites
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oil and gas experience
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are desirable

- Able to read and interpret documents such as bills of material, engineering drawings, specifications, technical reports, etc.
- Willing to research solutions/ answers to questions that may not be known
- The ability to effectively manage time, handle multiple conflicting tasks, and change priorities.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of fabrication methods in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Must be able and willing to learn and apply the latest technology in new product development and improvements of current products.
- Proactive team player comfortable working in a multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook and SharePoint
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Must be a “hands-on" Project Manager who is comfortable spending time in the field, the shop, branches, and administrative offices.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in diverse conditions, including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms, with exposure to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather conditions, and varying terrain. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and required to enter confined spaces.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff, and others via the phone and on-site locations.
- Ability to walk long distances in rough or variable terrain.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry objects of 10 pounds or less routinely.
- This position will frequently require you to sit, stand, and walk.
· May require the ability to climb stairs, to kneel and/or crouch to retrieve equipment and other items.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
