Warehouse Supervisor
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the warehouse supervisor will oversee and participate in the shipping functions of the warehouse including but not limited to receiving, Put Away, picking, small parcel and Value-Added Services. The Warehouse Supervisor will serve as a lead over one or more assigned warehouse functions while providing training, direction and guidance to team members.
Duties and Responsibilities – General
· Oversee all warehouse processes
· Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment that complies with safety standards
· Arrange the work for the day based on orders/loads so all the work is completed on time.
· Assess and evaluate temp labor needed
· Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities
· Resolve problems within Synapse. When unable to resolve, bring to the attention of the System Administrator.
· Train and supervise warehouse staff, including temporary workers
· Schedule and manage labor to meet operational demands while controlling costs
· Foster a culture of safety, accountability and teamwork among warehouse personnel
· Resolve issues related to damaged goods, delays, or missing inventory
· Ensure all custom paperwork is complete (Certificate of Analysis, MSDS sheets, Bill of Lading, Packing Lists etc.) per customer specifications.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-3 years of experience in a lead position within a 3PL warehouse environment
- 3 years of experience with Synapse
- 2-3 years forklift experience, with certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform mid-level math calculations (subtract, add, divide, multiply)
Physical and Environmental Elements:
· Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is subject to ambient temperature conditions
· Must be able to work flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
· Employee must stand and/or walk for approximately 8 hours per shift. This position bends, stoops, reaches, pulls, pushes, climbs and lifts up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $68,640.00 per year
