Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Memphis, TN.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor will responsible directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals
What a typical day looks like:
- Production Management: Responsible for overseeing multiple production processes in a highly technical environment, prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and material supply to meet customer requirements.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manages a team of professionals, including engineers and operators, providing coaching and training to enhance performance and operational understanding while ensuring all personnel are trained and certified in their specific functions.
- Performance Evaluation and Improvement: Reviews plant operating performance regularly, identifies areas for improvement, and collaborates with engineers to develop project proposals aimed at enhancing efficiencies, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Operational Troubleshooting: Analyzes and resolves operational problems, holding discussions with operators to improve capabilities and advising on changes in operating conditions to optimize performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on safety guidelines and compliance with established policies, while assisting in department budget planning and managing expenses..
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years Production and/or operations experience in logistics and distribution
- Leadership experience
- WMS management
- Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
- Good communication skills
- Time flexibility
