Manufacturing Production Operator

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging quality parts in appropriate containers. This involves retrieving parts from machines or conveyors, trimming and de-flashing them as needed, and inspecting each part for defects. The successful applicant must also maintain a clean and organized work area, complete required paperwork, and perform statistical process control functions.

• Package quality parts in appropriate containers

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to visually inspect parts produced
• Must be able to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must have the ability to withstand constant repetitive wrist motion, prolonged standing, frequent bending, twisting, or stretching
• Must be able to regularly climb ladders, stairs, climb or balance
• Must be capable of lifting up to 16 pounds on a repetitive basis

Qualification Requirements:

• Must be proficient in mathematics
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Must be able to understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Must have the ability to apply commonsense understanding
• Must be able to function as a team player

Work Environment:

• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
• Frequently exposed to vibration, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat and cold, and moderate to loud noise levels
