What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Flex-N-Gate Corporation?
Scope of the Position
Audits the work activities of processing production workers to verify conformance of activities to quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
Required to pass all department tests (quality inspection, blueprint, gages, rulers and tools)
Reads processing information to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications
Observes workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards
Observes and asks workers questions pertaining to job functions
Must have knowledge of limit samples, check fixtures, go-no-go gages, quality key points, ruler, profilometer and calipers
Writes and submits audit report to supervisory personnel
Assist in development of operator / inspection documents for production
Assist in development of quality audit plans
Monitor use of all check fixtures, gauges and limit samples
Monitor / audit SPC charts
Monitor / assist production employees on the use of quality and reject reports as applicable to operation / inspection
Must have good attendance and a solid safety record
All other duties as assigned
JOB PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The level in the work environment is usually loud.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to properly maintain records and / or reports
