Flex-O-Glass is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Sales Intern for the Summer of 2025. This hands-on internship provides an opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in sales or related degree study to gain practical experience in plastics manufacturing, sales and customer negotiations. The intern will work closely with our Sales department to design and implement new opportunities to impact new and emerging markets. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an ambition to grow within a sales-based role and showcase their skills.

Responsibilities and learning outcomes:
- Under direction of our Director of Sales be able to manage business prospects and leads to increase customer base
- Manage local or regional customers to facilitate growth of overall business strategies
- Leverage relationships through tradeshows and other localized efforts
- Work with existing customers to drive overall sales enhancements and growth potential
- Drive overall department growth strategies through collaboration of other team members
- Develop a streamlined product information database to support long-term sales strategies
- Partner with current Account Managers to learn through the sales cycle, business strategies and aid in customer presentations to support growth efforts
- Work with our Customer Service Team to enhance strategies to enhance overall communications and sales incentives to grow business
- Design new sales strategies to cater toward pipeline sales to aid in overall growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- Student seeking bachelor's degree in sales or related field
- Ability to leverage strong communications and verbal communications skills
- Ability to understand pricing, strategy, and building rapport with current or prospective customers
- Desire to learn the sales product cycle and how to close on sales opportunities
- Ability to travel locally or regionally based on demand
