What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary position at Flex Opportunity?
We are looking for a detail-oriented Secretary to join our real estate team at our headquarters in Lakewood, NJ! If you're experienced in administrative support, real estate documentation, or contract management, we'd love to hear from you.
- Contract Preparation & Review: Draft, proofread, and organize purchase agreements, listing contracts, and addendums.
- Title & Escrow Coordination: Communicate with title companies, review title reports, and address liens or encumbrances.
- Closing Documentation: Ensure preparation and accuracy of closing documents, including HUD-1 statements and disclosures.
- Lien & Judgment Searches: Conduct searches to identify liens, unpaid taxes, or legal claims on properties.
- Eviction & Foreclosure Support: Assist in preparing paperwork, notices, and coordinating processes with attorneys.
- Compliance Management: Verify contracts and agreements comply with state and federal real estate laws.
- Lease & Rental Administration: Draft, manage, and update lease agreements and rental documentation.
- Probate & Estate Assistance: Support documentation and processes related to probate or estate property transfers.
- Notary Services: Notarize real estate documents when required.
- Previous experience as a secretary or administrative assistant, preferably in real estate or legal fields.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of New Jersey real estate regulations (preferred).
- Notary certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
