This position will begin May 12th and run through September 15, 2025.This position has a guaranteed contract of $28,000 to $32,000 for the season. All travel is covered by the team. Housing options are available provided by FLEX.The Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers are a dynamic professional baseball team competing in the Independent Pioneer Baseball League, with a recent 2024 championship win highlighting their competitive edge. Based in Marysville, California, the team plays home games at historic Bryant Field and is deeply committed to fostering community engagement and promoting a family-friendly atmosphere. Known for their vibrant energy and dedication to excellence, the High Wheelers are a proud representation of the Yuba-Sutter region's spirit and heritage.What Youll Do1. Injury Prevention : a. Develop and implement pre-practice and pre-game warm-ups.b. Provide guidance on injury prevention strategies and conditioning programs.2. Injury Management : a. Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries sustained by athletes.b. Maintain records in an electronic medical system compliant with HIPAAc. Coordinate insurance claims and worker compensation claims as needed.3. Game and Practice Coverage : a. Attend all team practices and games, both home and away, to deliver on-the-spot care.b. Prioritize player readiness and emergency injury management during events.4. Athletic Training Room Management : a. Maintain and organize the training room.b. Ensure all equipment and supplies are available for optimal athlete care.5. Travel Duties : a. Accompany the team during travel to provide continuous medical coverage.b. Collaborate with team staff to coordinate care during road games.6. Communication and Education : a. Act as the liaison between athletes, coaches, and external healthcare providers.b.
