What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician - Call Center position at Flex-Staff, Inc.?
Do you have exceptional customer service skills AND strong mechanical knowledge? Our client is looking for a dedicated Service Technician to assist customers in product support and technical issues.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support by resolving customer technical product issues.
- Identify and advise solutions for customers with questions regarding product operation.
- Maintain an effective customer relationship management (CRM) program that integrates with business computer systems.
- Inspection and dispositioning of returns initiated by the technical support team.
- Support Quality Assurance through reporting of potential quality defects and occasional checks/verification of suspected defects.
- Analyze product failures, design flaws, and service issues to correct problems
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of related experience and/or degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred
- Possess a strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience with metal working and woodworking environments
- Experience with Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical functions
- Exhibit a strong attention to detail and value of data integrity
