We are hiring energetic Mover Team Leads with driving experience at Flex Storage!

What you'll do:

We are seeking an experienced Mover Team Lead that is equipped to drive, supervise and lead our moving teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent physical stamina, and prior experience in residential and commercial moving. They should be capable of safely handling and transporting furniture, appliances, and other items while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and train a team of third-party laborers to ensure they are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to execute moving projects effectively. Continuously assess the team's performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee moving projects from start to finish, including packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking. Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with established timelines and quality standards.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate labor and equipment resources to optimize project outcomes. Make informed decisions regarding the assignment of tasks and responsibilities based on individual strengths and capabilities.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality service standards by conducting regular quality checks throughout each moving project. Address any issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all moving activities. Conduct regular safety meetings, provide safety training, and ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment.
• Communication: Foster clear and open communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Address any concerns, questions, or feedback from the laborers and clients in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the moving and logistics industry.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Skills:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving projects
• Proficiency in using relevant moving equipment and tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
• Experience driving pickup truck with trailer
• Experience driving Box truck
