Controls Software Engineer - Automation

  • Saginaw from ~March thru July, and Cummins plant in North Carolina from ~August thru End of Year

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer with expertise in commissioning, debugging, and programming using Allen Bradley software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and troubleshooting automation systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform commissioning and debugging of automated systems.
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI interfaces .
  • Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and issue resolution to ensure seamless operation.
  • Work on-site in Saginaw, MI from approximately March through July .
  • Support system integration at a Cummins plant in North Carolina from approximately August through the end of the year .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians , to optimize system performance.

    • Qualifications :

  • Strong experience with Allen Bradley software, including RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View .
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial automation .
  • Experience with commissioning and debugging in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site in Saginaw, MI, and North Carolina as required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues efficiently.
