Junior Controls Hardware Designer (Entry-Level)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing electrical designs for control systems, including creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Support the selection and specification of electrical components such as sensors, controllers, and power supplies.
- Work closely with senior engineers and designers to integrate control hardware into complete system solutions.
- Help maintain and organize Bill of Materials (BOMs) for various projects.
- Participate in hardware testing and troubleshooting under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Contribute to documentation and ensure designs meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Engage in learning opportunities to understand best practices in hardware design and industrial automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Internship or project experience in hardware design, control systems, or automation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical components, circuit design, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems, and communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, or MODBUS is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with peers.
