PLC Controls Engineer

DIRECT HIRE!!

We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Controls Engineer with expertise in Allen Bradley and Siemens software for programming and debugging PLC and HMI systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing multi-station assembly and gauging machinery, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams, including program managers , mechanical designers , and the manufacturing team .

Responsibilities :

Program and debug multi-station assembly and test systems .
Develop and implement PLC and HMI coding .
Configure SCADA systems and manage motion control applications.
Utilize tools like Panel View Plus and Panel Builder 32 .
Optimize networking systems for Ethernet IP and ensure seamless integration.

Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience with Allen Bradley RS Logic 5000 ; knowledge of Siemens software is highly desirable.

Working knowledge of Mechatronic systems , including mechanical aptitude and motion control understanding .

Familiarity with Step and State Logic .

Preferred experience with Fanuc and ABB Robot Programming .

Ability to work independently and lead efforts to make machinery operational.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel 50% of the time , both domestically and internationally (e.g., to Canada and Mexico ).

Flexible work schedule : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, Monday – Friday and 7 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM on Saturdays , with an average 50–55-hour workweek .

A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Compensation :

Hourly rate : $45–$50 per hour , with flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional skills and experience.

Preferred Experience :

Hands-on experience in Powertrain systems .

Advanced expertise in robot programming is a plus but not mandatory.
