Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the student will work on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues, to develop skills and experiences.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the student will work on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues, to develop skills and experiences.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support the documentation for new designs, including AutoCAD drawings, Word, Excel, etc.
- Support implementation and evaluation of proposed designs and processes for a manufacturing environment
- Assist with the justification, purchase and implementation of capital equipment for production
- Define customer needs and requirements
- Support with writing Scope of Work (SOW) for new manufacturing processes and facility upgrades
- Assist and oversee the installation of new equipment and utilities
- Assist is the design and budgeting of electrical and wiring systems
- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
- Make recommendations on cost improvement and reduction programs
- Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
- Jr/Sr student pursuing Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related major
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic about medical manufacturing processes
- AutoCAD experience a must!
- Available to start on June 2nd and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for a 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
