Reporting to the MES Applications Analyst the student will assist with technical IT support, incident tracking and resolution tasks as well as user training tasks. The Intern will also be completing a Kaizen project as part of the internship assignment.

Reporting to the MES Applications Analyst the student will assist with technical IT support, incident tracking and resolution tasks as well as user training tasks. The Intern will also be completing a Kaizen project as part of the internship assignment.
What a typical day looks like:
- Help provide technical IT support to include analyzing dashboards, creating technical documentation, maintaining Flex's knowledge base and solving system incidents based on ITIL methodology.
- Create, enhance, and maintain complex reports/dashboards (SQL-Based) to provide real-time data to top management (Analytics)
- Collaborate with local/regional/corporate multi-disciplinary / multi-cultural teams.
- Create work instructions to final user for training/education purposes.
- Create technical documentation for system bugs or system enhancements.
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
- Senior level student pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related major
- MS Office Suite – advanced skills strongly preferred
- Strong SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL) & Relational Database knowledge
- Willing to learn from manufacturing processes and its back-end (IT) architecture
- Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing knowledge, ITIL knowledge would be useful
- SQL / Analytics / Big Data certification preferred
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills as well as organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous internship experience in manufacturing/supply chain processes, a plus!
- Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri, in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
