To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer located in Memphis, TN.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer will in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like :
- Manufacturing Process and Design Evaluation : Recognize and define the manufacturing process, technologies, and techniques; implement and evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability while establishing robust, repeatable process parameters.
- Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving : Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to identify root causes of manufacturing failures, participate in daily production activities, and effectively troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Capital Equipment and Process Control : Prepare justifications for, purchase, and implement capital equipment; develop and take ownership of process control methodologies to enhance productivity and safety.
- Continuous Improvement and Training : Engage in cycle time and process improvements, interface with production for new process implementation, and assist in developing and providing training to production personnel during technology transfers.
- Documentation and Cost Management : Develop and maintain process documentation, review processing methods, and guide cost improvement programs to enhance manufacturing techniques and throughput.
