Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Production Specialist - Day Shift role involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area.
Hours: 6:00 pm-6:00 am (A Shift - Rotating)

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Specialist - Day Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Production Specialist - Day Shift role involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area.
Hours: 6:00 pm-6:00 am (A Shift - Rotating)
What a typical day looks like:
- Respond to machine alarms as they occur, identify the root cause, correct as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability.
- Repair and maintain electrical controls on assembly.
- Repair robot end tools, mechanical systems, and controls, calibrate and adjust robot pick and place points if needed.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components.
- Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
- Assists with customer presentations and interfaces with customers.
- Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
- Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components.
- Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
- 2-4 years’ experience in similar position
- Minimum 1 year machine troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of and experience with assembly requirements
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Medical device experience is preferred
