To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Memphis, TN.
Reporting to the Operations Director , the Production Supervisor will responsible directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals
Shift : Monday to Friday 6 : 00am - 3 : 00pm
What a typical day looks like :
- Production Management : Responsible for overseeing multiple production processes in a highly technical environment, prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and material supply to meet customer requirements.
- Team Leadership and Development : Manages a team of professionals, including engineers and operators, providing coaching and training to enhance performance and operational understanding while ensuring all personnel are trained and certified in their specific functions.
- Performance Evaluation and Improvement : Reviews plant operating performance regularly, identifies areas for improvement, and collaborates with engineers to develop project proposals aimed at enhancing efficiencies, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Operational Troubleshooting : Analyzes and resolves operational problems, holding discussions with operators to improve capabilities and advising on changes in operating conditions to optimize performance.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on safety guidelines and compliance with established policies, while assisting in department budget planning and managing expenses..
